I bought these for the sitting room in my old house - post break up my place is much smaller so I no longer have a need for these. As you would expect from John Lewis they are of real quality and set a room off beautifully. They are touch sensitive, so no fumbling for a switch ! Just tough the stem and they come on. Each lamp has three settings, low, medium & high. Simple & elegant.
